A significant candlelight protest against violence on women was organized today at College Tilla, Lake Side, by Fitness Explosion Gym in collaboration with Lions Club of Agartala Anish and Hub of Fitness Gym.
The event saw active participation from local residents, who united in a peaceful demonstration to demand enhanced safety and security for women in the region.
The protest, which drew a substantial crowd, emphasized the urgent need for society to recognize the collective responsibility of protecting women.
Participants carried placards with messages advocating for women’s safety and chanted slogans urging authorities to take stronger measures against gender-based violence. They urged justice for rape victims and a safe society for everyone.
